THE secret of the stars-- gravitation. The secret of the earth-- layers of rock. The secret of the soil-- to receive seed. The secret of the seed-- the germ. The secret of man-- the sower. The secret of woman-- the soil. My secret: Under a mound that you shall never find.

This poem was good but depressing towards the end. When i read this poem i feel like i can actually see what is read and feel like im at the scene.this poem shows repetion, imagery, and mood/tone shift. There are many literary elements that make the readers want too read it over and over again. The tone of the poem starts out nice and peacefully and happy but towards the end it got depressing and hurtful. Imagery in this poem, people can feel like they are there and actually see what is being said. This is such a good poem that shows how life works and how it was made. The author uses simple wording that readers can easily picture the theme to this poem.
